Bredonborough Rising at continuing heroism

Bredonborough.

Rising at 07.56, continuing heroism albeit at a lower level than any morning following my return from Mexico.

The Minx was hiding behind the bedroom door as I entered my day, shaking with excitement at the prospect of making her husband jump, once again.

… and viewing two paintings, restored for us by Mr. George Jack. A visit also to a new chocolate shop and the Edinburgh Woollen Mill. Then to the Dormy House Hotel for afternoon tea. The hotel has been recently refurbished to an el posho standard and seems to be a destination for Notting Hill Persons at the weekend. A place to which to return.

Home, and a little practising before our evening adventure…

21.37    … a backgammon evening on the High Street with Maureen and Guy. Lotsa fun. The boat was pushed out, but not so far that it could not return to shore.

Now, time to make a fuss of WillyFred.
